24th night - Monday

(3rd POV Ceremony)
Result of the 3rd POV Ceremony: Jen DID use the POV to save herself; Mike was put up in her place.

Dustin is instructing an exercise class in the backyard - Zach, Jameka, Amber, Jessica, and Jen are in attendance (the cameramen got a lot of "body shots" and this went on for about 45 minutes or so).

Daniele is in the kitchen making cookies. Dick, Eric, and Nick are sitting at the bar waiting to eat them (not much of this conversation was aired because they were mostly focusing on the exercise class in the backyard).

Dick, Jessica, and Zach are out on the patio and Dick and Jessica are telling Zach to stay away (i guess he has reeeeally bad gas tonight!). Dick says to Zach, "Get away from me you ol' fartbag!" Jen puts more chlorine in the hottub as Dick talks about how much the backyard, the house, and Zach stink. Jen agrees the refrigerator and freezer are smelling kinda bad.

Amber and Eric are "flirting" in the bedroom (with the tall beds) for a little while. (It's hard to tell if Amber is just playing Eric or if she is serious.)

A little while later, Jessica and Eric draw a crowd in the kitchen while Eric assists Jessica in doing a back-flip. Eric continues to manuever Jessica in strange "acrobatic tricks."

Dick and Daniele are talking in the bedroom (with the little beds) and she's telling him that he can't choose not to be a parent for so many years and then suddenly come into her life and be a parent. She said, "No..... No..... You just can't do that." Jameka comes in and says she is sorry to interupt and she gets something (I can only assume it was her bible). They talk for a while and finally Daniele says, "This sucks! This whole thing sucks! I hate this! I don't want to do this and I don't want to do this here! I hate being here! I feel like I'm not even having fun anymore! Everything is just so frustrating and no one understands what I'm going through, even though they say they do. It's just so frustrating!" Dick replies, "I do." Daniele interupts, "No you don't! You only understand from your perspective! Not mine!" Dick says, "Well I understand a little better than other people. This is really hard for me too and I've cried just as much as you, if not more since we've been in this house." They both ended up crying. Dick told her that he knows he's not the greatest father but he "is trying" and he said he will never stop trying. He told her they both should accept each other for the way they are and try to make it work. Dick says, "Look Daniele, I can't promise I'm not gonna fuck up - 'cause I will. I'm an idiot." Dick starts to cry and spills his heart out to her. Dick asks for a hug and Daniele hugs him and he says, "I love you very much, Daniele." She says she wants to go to bed and Dick tells her to go up in the HOH room and hang out and she tells him no. Before Dick leaves he tells Daniele that he would like to see Jessica win HOH next week. He said he thinks that "she is so sweet..... and so nice..... and so happy-go-lucky..... and such a ray of sunshine." He thinks Jessica is "a lot smarter than other people give her credit for." As he is walking out the door he tells Daniele that they should try to have fun together while they're here. He said, "Do you want me to send Nick in, since he was in here before?" Daniele says, "Noooo." He says to her, "Okay, and as hard as this was tonight, I'm glad we talked tonight. This really means a lot to me. I love you very much," and he walks out. Daniele goes under her covers. (This conversation lasted an hour, almost exactly - and Daniele whined about half the time and refused to talk the other half - sigh).

Jen and Kail are out on the hammock talking about sequester and campaigning. Kail is saying the only people she hasn't had one-on-one time with is Jessica, (someone else that I missed), and Zach. Then Zach comes outside and Kail said, "What's he doing?" and Jen responds, "Probably coming out here to fart again." Kail just said, "Oh."

Nick goes in to check on Daniele. They whisper soooo quietly that there is no way to understand them. He did ask if she was going to bed soon and she said, "yeah," then he said, "me too."

Dick is talking to Dustin about his relationship with Daniele while smoking a cigarette. Dick admits to Dustin that being HOH is "not what it's cracked up to be" and that he's really glad it's over (for him, at least). Zach is sitting on the other far end of the couch and he tells Dick and Dustin that he's really bored and he thinks he's just "melancholy" every day (give me a break!).

Nick tells Jessica and Jameka (who are on the hammock) that if Kail won HOH next week she would definately put up Zach. He said Kail really wants to get rid of Zach. Nick said he would put up Zach or Kail. He told them that he thinks Mike is definately going this week because "like Dick said, 'Mike's a strong player and this may be the only chance we have to get him out. Kail's fragile right now and she's gonna be weak for a while.'" Dick comes over to the hammock and tells Nick, Jessica, and Jameka about some of the conversation he had with Daniele. Nick and Jessica get up and play some golf in the backyard, leaving Dick to have a heart-to-heart with Jameka about Daniele.

Daniele goes out to the kitchen to get a bowl of cereal and takes about four bites, then "Daniele, please come to the diary room" (damn boys, give the girl a break and let the girl EAT!).

Dick and Jameka are still in the hammock talking about his relationship with Daniele. He tells her how much he appreciates her listening to him talk and she responds, "You don't have to thank me. This is what I do."
