23rd night - Sunday

Earlier in the day: Right after dinner, Nick asked Dick if he could go up and listen to some music, so Dick gave him the key. Later, while Dick and Amber are doing dishes, Dick sees Jen and Zach come out of the HOH room (and he knew Nick was up there). Dick starts throwing silverware in the sink, then he says to her, "Go upstairs, get my key, and tell Nick he's kicked out." Amber kinda looked at him funny, so he said, "Do you want to do it or do you want me to?" She whispered something, so he says, "Okay" to go himself. On the way up there, Dick told Zach, "Don't ever go in my room again when I'm not there." (Dick had decided that Jen, Zach, and Nick had to be in an alliance together and got really pissed off and went up to the HOH room, got his key, then kicked Nick out. Dick later said he was pissed because they were doing that "in HIS room." (Chronologically, Nick would have had to go out to the hammock where him and Amber talked - probably about Dick. Then Amber came back in the house and Dick grilled her about what she talked to Nick about in the hammock. Most likely this is when Dick would have gone outside to smoke his cigarette and "fight" with Nick - who was still on the hammock. During this conversation, Daniele opened the sliding door and told Dick that she needed to talk to him. Dick must have gone up to his room some time after this and Nick went back to the hammock and proceeded to get trashed.........)

Daniele and Dick are talking in the HOH room and basically Dick is telling her that she doesn't give him any consideration, that she treats him like shit and everyone has noticed it. He told her, "You keep saying how hard it is in here for YOU. Well, it's hard for me too. Don't you stop to consider that? Why does it always have to be all about you?" They end up screaming at each other and Daniele leaves, goes to her room and cries under her covers.

Then Dick goes downstairs and gets Amber and goes into the Food Storage Room. They are now arguing about something that happened earlier - (Dick was upset with Jen, Zach, and Nick for being in his room, Amber was upset with Dick for "throwing dishes," Dick was upset that Amber was holding back information that Nick gave her, and, finally, Amber was upset that Dick was being nosy. She kept telling him, "Why was it any of your business anyway? I don't walk around saying 'Dick why are you talking to that person?' " Eventually Amber starts crying and Dick hugs her and tells her that he loves her and they start talking about the tension in the house.

Nick and Daniele are in the hammock talking now. Nick said he was sorry about what happened last night (something must have happened after midnight that I don't know about). Loooong silence. Nick finishes his beer, crushes the can and throws the remains (I later found out he was throwing them up on one of the window canopys. He tells her, "Don't worry about it. It's on me." She is crying. She's acting like an emotional wreck. Nick goes to get another beer. (Meanwhile Dick and Amber are still going at it in the Food Storage Room.) Nick comes back with a beer and spills his heart out to Daniele, "I can't stand the fact that there is a part of me that you don't trust.....that you can't trust.....because of this game." Nick tells her that he told Zach and Jen off earlier today (separately) and that he had it out with Dick earlier about his intentions toward Daniele. Nick says that there are only three people he's looking out for: Daniele, Amber, and Jameka. He says that these are the only three people in the house that deserve the money (uh yeah, except when he's talking to someone else - he told Amber several days ago that he thought that only her and Jameka deserved to win AND he specifically said that he didn't think Daniele deserved to win the money "because she is still young and has her whole life ahead of her.") He tells Daniele that he feels like everyone has outcasted him. (Daniele never spoke once since he came back from getting his last beer.) Nick now leaves to go to the bathroom and (yes, you guessed it) to get another beer. Nick comes back and tells Daniele, "Whatever you want to say to me just say it." She's still silent.

Dick and Amber are still in the Food Storage Room and he's telling her about what happened with him and Daniele in the HOH room just 20 minutes ago. Dick is telling Amber that they (Dick and Amber) have a good relationship and there should never be a question of trust. He said, "I tell you more personal shit, like about Daniele, than I do anyone else in the house, and that's because I trust that you won't use that against me later on in the game." (In my opinion, this isn't even true, because he talks to Dustin, Jessica, Eric, and Jameka a lot about Daniele - I believe these are the people he has the closest relationships with in the house.) Amber said, "No, of course I wouldn't do that." Dick replied, "I know. That's why I tell you." He told her that he was sorry he just "unloaded on her like that." Amber (of course) tells him that it's "no problem at all" and they go their separate ways.

20 minutes later Nick and Daniele are still sitting there not really talking. She finally gets into the hammock with him and says, "I hope you don't think that I feel the same way about you as my dad." Nick tells her again that she can trust him 100%, then suddenly he has to pee again. He leaves and Dick comes outside and sits on the patio, as Daniele glares at him from across the backyard. Dick comes over to her and says, "The last thing I want to say to you on a personal level is that we obviously can't fix anything here, so when we get out of here I would be willing to go to counseling, 'cause it's really important to me." Dick walks away and Nick comes back (with his 4th beer) and sits down again on the hammock. (He had his first beer about 45 minutes ago!) Then over the loud speaker, "Nick, please come to the Diary Room." Nick's response, "Fuck."

Daniele goes into the house to the kitchen where she's getting ice cream with Amber and Amber tells her about the conversation she just had with Dick in the Food Storage Room. They go into the bathroom and sit on the couch to eat their ice cream and talk. Daniele admits that she can't deal with all the pressure from her dad and Nick. Amber is in total agreement that Dick is too overbearing. In her words, "He's just too much. I don't even have another way to describe him. He's just too much." (She said this at least four times.) Amber also tells Daniele that she really "feels for her" because she's not even Dick's daughter, but yet she feels like Dick is treating her that way. (In my opinion, Amber is playing the "sympathetic role" a little too obviously, especially in this situation. Amber was ragging on Dick just as much as, if not more than, Daniele - they were both really pissed at Dick tonight!) Zach comes in to use the bathroom and Amber and Daniele stop talking and ignore him in an obvious way. They make small talk for a couple minutes, then get up and hug, and go their separate ways.

Dick and Dustin are talking in the living room and Dustin is telling him that he would expect that from someone like Joe, but not Dick - he expected more from Dick (apparently Dick told Jameka that Dustin had told him that he sympathized with Jameka and how she was feeling today. They celebrated her birthday today and she got a card/letter from her mother and didn't feel right about it because she wasn't HOH and she just didn't think that was right). Dick said he was "really sorry" to Dustin about twenty times and told him that he was just having a really bad day. (Oh, and by the way, Dustin is walking around with a birthday hat, an eyepatch, a fake mustache, and what looks like a black robe!) Dick is telling Dustin that he's having a hard time with the pressure of the house, being HOH, and with Daniele. (It was pretty hilarious to watch this serious conversation play out with Dustin dressed the way he was!) Eventually, these two part and go their separate ways.

In the bedroom (with the little beds) Jessica and Dustin are hosting some kind of "home shopping network" for Jameka, Kail, Jen, Zach, and Eric. Dustin is commentating, while Jessica is modeling one of her rings.

Daniele goes out to the hammock to meet up with Nick again. Nick tells her, "I want one person in this game to trust me 100% and I want that person to be you." (They are laying next to each other and he has his arm around her and she is snuggling up to him.) Nick says that he' s been doing a lot of thinking today. (There are many long silences.) Daniele tells Nick that she was talking to Amber in the bathroom about Dick and what happened in the Food Storage Room, etc. Nick tells her about the fight he and Dick had earlier in the HOH room and the backyard. Nick asked if it was okay if he can go use the bathroom again. Daniele said, "You're ridiculous." Nick replied, "Well I have been drinking excessively tonight. I got the beer taken away from me..." (cut to the bedroom with little beds where everyone is talking and now playing a word game - obviously, the producers told him he wasn't allowed to have any more because no one else was called into the Diary Room tonight).

Nick comes back from the bathroom again and asked Daniele what she was thinking, then says, "Scrap that. Let's not talk. Let's just chill." They make some small talk and flirt a little (anytime there is eye contact for too long, Daniele overts her eyes). They make more small talk and then stare at each other for a loooong time (it was like they were going to kiss at any second!), then Daniele puts her head back down on his shoulder. Nick said, "I think I'm gonna go to bed now." They both go in the house.

Dustin, Jessica, Jen, Eric, Kail, Amber, Jameka, Zach, and Mike are all still in the bedroom talking and everyone (except Jameka and Amber) decide to go get some ice cream. Jameka is talking about someone who has "gone number 2 a few times and not wash their hands afterwards" (sorry folks, i missed who it was!). Nick and Daniele come in and they talk for a minute. Dustin comes back and Nick is telling them about the fight he had with Dick earlier. (I think Dick exploded quite a few times today 'cause he was on everyone's shit list tonight!) Just in the middle of it, Eric, Kail, and Jessica come in and no one is talking. Eventually everyone comes back with their ice cream and Jameka tells everyone that no she doesn't want any ice cream. She says, "You know what that did to me the last time." Everyone laughs. They all decide to leave so that the people who want to sleep can do that. (I guess Jameka was trying to go to bed earlier when everyone came in to entertain her - and somehow Jameka is now eating ice cream in bed! Haha!) Nick and Jameka are the only ones left so he continues his story about Dick. He starts to tell her about what happened with him and Daniele last night in the HOH room and they immediately cut the scene (damn!).

Dustin, Daniele, Amber, and Jessica are in the other room talking about Dick. (Yep, he's on a lot of people's shit list for sure!)

Nick is now leaving the bedroom to find Zach. They go in the Food Storage Room and they start talking about what happened with Dick earlier and how Dick is being really paranoid. Nick said, "I know. 'Cause you were like starring at the wall the whole time and Jen was just laying on the bed and all I was doing was listening to music." They both just wanted to make sure that they were still cool with each other, then they go their separate ways.

Dick is out on the patio alone talking to himself about how he shouldn't let things like that bother him. "It's a game..... Focus. Focus. Focus..... And you shouldn't let things bother me like that..... When I outburst like that, it makes people feel uncomfortable..... You just need to relax, dude. Stop making yourself out to be such a target and in such a negative way, too." (This goes on and on for about five minutes.)

Dick tells Jameka in the bathroom that he only trusts her, Jessica, and Eric, and sometimes he can trust Dustin and Amber. Dick tells Jameka that he's really sorry for exploding earlier and that he understands that it makes people uncomfortable. He also says that he's going to get everyone together later and tell them that he's sorry for doing that and that he will "do his best" to not do it again. (The bathroom is where Jameka chose to read her bible tonight.)

Dick goes out to the patio to smoke and Jessica is in the hot tub and they start talking about Nick. Jessica said, "I don't know what was wrong with him today. He's been acting really weird. He worked out all day long and someone said he chugged like five beers tonight." (Yeah, I guess Nick did do a lot of thinking today - Haha!) Dick gives his "apology speech" to Jessica and she tells him that she was not offended by anything with him and that he shouldn't worry about her.

Amber and Eric are talking on the hammock and she is telling him about (yes, again) the conversation with Dick in the Food Storage Room. Dick interupts and gives Amber a candy bar (or a HoHo or something). As Dick walks away, Amber whispers to Eric, "Yeah. Whatever." Amber then tells Eric about the conversation that Dick and Daniele had in the HOH room earlier (Dick had told Daniele that Amber cries at the drop of a pin - which he did say). Amber then goes into detail about the incident at the kitchen sink with Dick after dinner and the conversation in the Food Storage Room. (Apparently Dick did have a bad day!)

Jen, Kail, and Mike are all laying in bed talking (in the room with the round beds) with the lights off. Jen tells them that she overheard Nick and Amber talking in the bathroom earlier and she thinks they are gonna try to go after Dick and Daniele. They don't get to talk much more before the producer interupts and tells them if they are going to continue to talk, they need to turn the lights back on. Jen says, "They're talking next door with the lights out." Mike says, "This fucking sucks." They are silent for a while and then they talk again and the producer interupts again, so they all decide to go to sleep. Five minutes later, the lights are back on and Jen is telling them that Dick and Daniele had a really huge fight earlier in the HOH room. She could hear them from the kitchen, but she couldn't hear what it was about and wonders why they would be fighting. Mike reveals that he heard from Zach that "Nick is going to be this week's version of last week's Joe" (meaning Dick was probably going to try to backdoor Nick this week). They surmise that Dick and Daniele's fight was about Dick getting mad at Nick (for being in the HOH room with Zach and Jen) and told Daniele he wanted to put Nick up and Daniele must have gotten mad. Jen, Kail, and Mike all agree that Dick is "the worst HOH ever!" Jen is laughing and telling them that Dick came to her after the POV Competition and whispered to her, "Good job, honey. I didn't want you to go home this week. This is just how I planned it." Then Dick kissed her on the cheek. Kail and Mike are baffled at this information...CUT
